Saltire Engineering operates under a Quality Management System (QMS) which has been developed to meet the needs of ISO 9001 2001. As Saltire Engineering recognises the need for continuous improvement our QMS is constantly being developed to ensure we are in alignment with our clients requirements.

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Charter

Saltire Engineering has established the following objectives in matters pertaining to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:

• Saltire Engineering considers safety in regard to operations, health, respect for the environment and customer satisfaction as paramount priorities.
• Saltire Engineering will endeavour to partner with it’s clients complying to their particular needs for safety, health, environment and quality.
• Saltire Engineering will comply with laws and regulations applicable to its business activities.
• Appropriate safety, health, environment and quality management systems for our business activities will undergo regular evaluation involving measurement of performance, setting milestones, formulating relevant action plans and instituting suitable control procedures.
• Emergency facilities and procedures will be implemented in order to respond effectively in the event of accidents.
• Each person at all levels, must be conscious of his or her personal responsibility, giving due consideration to the prevention of risks of accident, harm to health or environmental damage associated with his or her activities.
• Proper attention to safety, health, environment protection and the quality of services and products will be an important criterion in evaluating the performance of each member of personnel.
• In all matters of safety, health, environment and quality, Saltire Engineering will adopt a constructive attitude based on open dialogue with outside parties
• Saltire Engineering will monitor and control it’s energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste products.
• Saltire Engineering will actively participate in and contribute to the development of sustainable procedures and policies.
